Guillermo Rigondeaux put up an excellent performance to defeat the former undefeated Rico Ramos for the WBA Super Bantamweight belt. He was measured, quick and intelligent, which was all he needed to win the fight. Anyway, today he fights Teon Kennedy who is equally as dangerous, though recording one defeat in his 20 fights, but one thing we all know in boxing, is that styles make fights.
The WBA Super Bantamweight champion Guillermo Rigondeaux fights Teon Kennedy in his first title defence.
When the bell rings, unlike in previous fights, where Guillermo Rigondeaux adopts a more aggressive approach to the fight, in this contest, both fighters appear to take the centre of the ring and start trading jabs and straight punches. This looks like a more measured contest, unlike in Guillermo’s last several fights.
