Alexander Povetkin did well to dispatch his Cedric Boswell in the 8th round, despite Cedric being the much older and washed up fighter, it was still an impressive victory. Anyway, today he will be fighting cruiserweight champion Marco Huck, in a fight that should give Alexander a significant advantage, because of the obvious weight differences, but let’s see what happens.
Alexander Povetkin has his second title defence against Marco Huck.
This fight starts off very quickly, with both fighters taking to the centre of the ring and engaging one another with good shots to the body and head. Marco Huck looks especially focused, has he targets the head of Alexander. This looks like a very interesting fight, and will likely be the most difficult of Alexander’s career.
