Alexander Povetkin appeared to fight very well during the early stages of the fight, but the constant holding by Wladimir Klitschko, became problematic for Alexander, as he looked fairly stomped for ideas. Wladimir did a good job in wearing him down and defeating him, but today, he’ll be fighting Manuel Charr who is the perfect opponent for him to face, if just for a confidence builder.
Alexander Povetkin looks to get back on track, after his first defeat, by facing Manuel Charr.
This fight has a fairly quick start to it, unlike in previous Alexander bouts. It appears as though Alexander has learnt a lot from his defeat and is starting to engage his opponents early. Maybe this will make a difference for the outcome of the fight or maybe not, who knows?
